Recital in Cologne

Benjamin jumped-in at short notice this month for an indisposed Beatrice Rana to perform a sensational recital at Cologne Philharmonie, which was celebrated particularly for his performance of Ravel’s Gaspard de la nuit ‘which one has hardly ever heard performed with such indisputable virtuosity, such extreme precision down to the last detail’. This followed his recent return for a recital at the Concertgebouw - following his triumph there recently with Sinfonia of London - before he heads to America for another US tour including at Symphony Centre, Chicago.
