Benjamin Grosvenor and Hyeyoon Park to give live recital from empty Wigmore Hall

The Wigmore Hall has launched a new concert series that sees leading musicians return to the stage for the first time since the lockdown.

Benjamin will be joined on stage by violinist Hyeyoon Park for a live performance at 1pm (GMT+1) on Tuesday 9th June 2020. The hour-long concert will be livestreamed on the Wigmore Hall website and broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Sounds, where it will be available on demand for 30 days. The concert programme will be announced in due course.


In accordance with Government guidelines, social distancing will be observed and there will be no audience present. The broadcast team will comprise only a producer backstage, a sound engineer, presenter and one member of Wigmore Hall staff.


Other artists taking part in the series include Mark Padmore, Lucy Crowe, Timothy Ridout, Sean Shibe, Iestyn Davies and Roderick Williams.
