Congratulations Benjamin Grosvenor, Gramophone’s youngest double-Award winner


We are ecstatic to announce that Benjamin Grosvenor has received two Gramophone Awards: ‘Young Artist of the Year‘ and ‘Instrumental Award‘ for his debut Decca recital disc “Chopin-Liszt-Ravel”. Not only that, Benjamin is the youngest ever artist to be a double-Award winner!

Benjamin has had an extraordinary year, including performances with the New York Philharmonic and Andrey Boreyko, a BBC Prom with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Charles Dutoit and recital debuts at the Sydney Opera House, Berlin Konzerthaus, La Roque d’Antheron, Concertgebouw and Frick Collection.

Benjamin has also been featured on CNN’s ‘Human to Hero', appeared on BBC breakfast, has received ‘The Queen’s commendation for excellence’ and the 2012 ‘Critics’ Circle’ Music Award for Exceptional Young Talent.

Benjamin’s “double accolade from Gramophone is another noteworthy badge of honour in his rise to international acclaim”.
