On June 8, 2012, Benjamin Grosvenor was announced as winner of the UK Critics’ Circle’s Award for “Exceptional Young Talent” in the instrumental category.

Voted on by the 76 members of the Music Section of the Critics’ Circle, the Critics’ Circle Music Awards are based upon the strength of the special impression that artists have made in the UK through both live performances and recordings.
